STAND SPECIFICATIONS
All Stands are 3.6m x 3.6m (12.96m2), carpeted and with velcro-receptive Black walls, 2.3m high. Red, Blue, or Green walls are available for an additional $15.00+GST per linear meter.

The Expo Management must be notified prior to the expo of the following:
- The intention of bringing in large machinery so special arrangements can be made
- If any live animals are being brought into the Show.
- Of the intended operation of any machinery i.e welders, power tools etc which may cause injury or fire. Please note the expo management reserves the right to refuse the request.
PRE-EXPO CONSIGNMENT OF EXHIBIT MATERIALS
If consigning exhibit materials to the EXPO venue, use the following address:

Please instruct your consigners to ensure delivery no earlier than Saturday, 15 August.
POST-EXPO COLLECTION OF EXHIBIT MATERIALS
Because of the event following the EXPO, please ensure that all materials to be uplifted are collected by 8:00pm Tuesday 17.
LOADING/UNLOADING OF EXHIBIT MATERIALS
Exhibitors needing temporary vehicle access to the loading/unloading bay at the rear of the Centre, must display a special LOADING BAY PASS on the right-hand side of the vehicle dashboard.
NB This authorizes stopping for a maximum of 20 minutes strictly for loading or unloading.

ADMISSION
Entry to the venue is free for all exhibitors and visitors. The Event Manager reserves the right to refuse, on reasonable grounds, entry to any person.
PARKING
Parking at Exhibitors’ cost is available in the basement carpark under the Events Centre and also at a number of other Wilson’s sites located in the vicinity of the Queens Wharf complex.
SECURITY
No passes will be used.
Within the pavilion, security will be maintained with guards in attendance during EXPO hours. Even so, the rule is, ‘all practical care but no responsibility taken.’ We therefore recommend due vigilance at all times when the EXPO is open to the public.
To maintain maximum security for everyone’s belongings, the security guards will be acting under the direction not to allow without prior notice the removal of any goods at the end of each day until the conclusion of the EXPO.
ACCOMMODATION
For full information on all available accommodation, we recommend that you consult your travel agent.
REFRESHMENTS
A catering concessionaire (responsible to the Events Centre Management) operates within the complex. Snacks and drinks will be available throughout the EXPO. Also, a selection of meals and snacks will be available in the adjacent Retail Centre Food Hall.
On Build-up day, hot soup will be provided free to Exhibitors and delivered to Stands.
Also, Exhibitors may use a special Exhibitors’ Lounge overlooking the Exhibition area. Tea and coffee in this lounge will be available free to Exhibitors and EXPO personnel only.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS
EXPO Front Desk phone 0-4-462 8404 (14 - 17 August only.) Exhibitors will be able to make local calls from phones in the Exhibitors’ Lounge. Pay-telephones are situated in the Retail Centre nearby.
SPECIAL TELEPHONE LINKS
Exhibitors needing special phone lines on their Stands for internet connections or other purposes should make arrangements directly with Telecom.
ELECTRICITY
Electricity this year is supplied as part of your stand package.
STAND LIGHTING
Additional to the general lighting within the pavilion, each Stand is lit by a bank of 3 x 150w spotlights. Again, if required, arrangements for hired supplementary lighting can be made with Megan Martin of PEEK DISPLAY.
STAND FURNISHINGS
Hire of tables, chairs and a variety of associated display items including electronic equipment can be arranged through PEEK DISPLAY CORPORATION. Contact Megan at PEEK if you need anything of that sort.
BANNER HANGING
If you need help to hang banners or similar items from the ceiling above your exhibit, contact Megan at Peek Display during the week before the event.
ADVERTISING/ PROMOTION OF THE EXPO
Advertising and promotion is yet to be confirmed and you will be notified of this in future news letters.
NOISE LEVELS
Needless to say, with thousands of students over two days, the EXPO will be a very lively place with a clearly perceptible background noise level! In communicating by whatever means with your ‘audience,’ we ask simply that you consider your neighbouring Exhibitors. In other words, please keep noise levels to a reasonable and acceptable level. As you will appreciate and as indicated in the contract form, the management must reserve the right to have any ‘offenders’ accede to this request.
FIRE AND EMERGENCY
In the event of fire, please leave the venue immediately by the nearest exit, following the instructions of the venue staff. Do not attempt to take personal belongings with you. Please take note of any disabled persons in your area and assist if possible. Do not obstruct any fire exits with display materials.
A sensitive fire sprinkler system operates in the venue. In presence of smoke, this will be activated automatically.

While making every effort to respect and fulfil Exhibitors’ wishes, the EXPO organisers reserve at all times the right to adjust site plans if deemed necessary. Any exhibitors affected by any such changes will be advised separately and individually.
MISCELLANEOUS
If you need help or advice during the EXPO, just approach the front desk. All staff will do whatever they can to assist.
