The Careers Expo: Background Information

The Coca-Cola Careers Expo comprises the widest range of exhibitors of any Careers Expo in New Zealand, consisting of employers, industry, government departments, corporate New Zealand, tertiary providers and training institutes.

The Careers Expo, sponsored by Coca-Cola Amatil (NZ) Ltd, commenced in 1991 in Auckland, 1995 in Wellington, 2000 in Dunedin and 2004 in Christchurch.

Targeting graduates, generation Y, the mature workforce, senior secondary students and school leavers, the Coca-Cola Careers Expo reaches over 50,000 visitors annually. Operating on a national level, these community events present an unequalled opportunity for companies, industry groups, employers, training organisations and many others to promote and brand their company or industry.

The Expo provides organisations the opportunity to connect directly with today’s job-seekers, graduates, and school leavers to provide potential employees with training and study opportunities, career advice and guidance, and employment benefits.
